This is re-mapping (also known as Chip-tuning) of the ECU using the tried and tested APPROVED software - we don't add bits or boxes but use the latest software to reprogramme your ECU with a new engine management file suited to conditions in the UK.
To understand how and why the re-mapping of an engine's electronic control unit (ECU) works, you need to understand that all major motor manufacturers have to set their engines so that they will operate anywhere in the world, at extreme temperatures and pressure and on poor quality fuel. As such requirements are unnecessary in the UK, major gains in performance, economy and general driveability can be achieved simply by re-programming the engine management system.
